Postal historic events

Study days

On 18th September 2012 has taken place a conference, at the head office of La Poste and at the postal museum, about the topic of the Managerial thought in France. Hosted by the CHP, with the participation of the IHMC-CNRS-ENS, the University of Paris-Est, the Ecole Polytechnique, the university of Paris Dauphine and CNAM, this conference was finishing the PPF program titled “Management Thought and use in France : inventory and perspectives19th – 21st centuries”, with as guests Jean-Paul Bailly and Francis Mer.

On 10 February 1998 the first study day co-sponsored by the Institut d’histoire Moderne et Contemporaine (IHMC/CNRS) and the CHP was held at the Ecole normale Supérieure and directed by Muriel Le Roux (IHMC / CNRS) and Benoit Oger (CHP), with the participation of Daniel Roche (director of the IHMC) ad Pascal Griset (Bordeaux 3).

With the partnership of the diplomatic archives in La Courneuve and the labex “Ecrire une histoire nouvelles de l’Europe” (Paris-Sorbonne and Pantheon-Sorbonne Universities), at the initiative of Alexandre Tessier, CHP has organized on Wednesday 13 September 2013 a day of conferences titled “Post Office and diplomacy in the European modern period. The Postal Services as a servant or a tool of the international relationships”.
