L'attribution de bourses

Each year the CHP awards scholarships to French-speaking students and university researchers following an academic degree course, master or Ph.D. in the European community, directed by a french professor, or codirected by a professor whose university is in agreement with a French university.

The CHP’s academic board will select candidates based on the submission of a research project for the completion of a master’s or doctoral degree. For the master’s degree, the progressive scholarship spreads out two years : at the end of the first year, the candidate should detail the main progresses in his study to obtain the second year of scholarship. For the Ph.D. degree, the scholarship won’t spread over three years : the candidat would have to submit a progress report for each annual session of the academic board.

The topic has to deal with the history of the postal service, the French PTT or French Post Office, its place in the societies, from the Ancient Regime to the present, in France, in Europe, and any other country in the world. Topics developed from a socio-historic or geographic-historical point of view are also of interest to the committee: the comparative method is also welcome.

Annual maximum scholarships add up to 5 000 € and is also based on the relevance of the chosen topic as evaluated by the academic board.

Application material should be sent and submitted until Thurday 19 October 2022 (midnight) to:
