What type of mail can you send?


You may send:

Identical and non-personalised mail for advertising purposes (massmailing, catalogues, magazines, etc).

You may not send (non-exhaustive list):

  • Mail containing personalised information (bills, statements of account, letters, etc.
  • Certain personalised elements, such as name, address, birth date, etc., are accepted. For further details, contact your Area Manager.
    Correspondence from a sender who resides in the destination country
    (Art. 25 of the UPU Convention).
  • Correspondence containing valuables of any kind, such as coins, banknotes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, precious metals, and gems (Art. 25 of the UPU Convention).
  • Correspondence containing:
    - Narcotics and/or psychotropic substances
    - Explosives, inflammable and/or dangerous materials
    - Objects or printed matters, the import and circulation of which are banned in the destination country (request information from the destination country)
    - Obscene or immoral objects or printed matters (request information from the destination country)
    - Live animals or insects
  • Objects with commercial value.
  • Objects subject to customs duties or VAT.
  • Objects having features that are odd and/or dangerous.
