Thanks to several books’ collections, you can discover the elements of the French postal history and patrimony.
Begun in 1997, this collection presents the first seven years of the CHP’s academic activity in the form of a journal of current postal history.
In November 2003 Apostille adopted the new title of Cahiers pour l’histoire de La Poste.
This two-part collection was created in November 2003.
Each semester a separate issue published under the auspices of the CHP is devoted to the representation of the most outstanding academic research work (master's and doctoral theses, post-doctoral work).
The collection brings knowledge and information relevant to postal history to postal workers as well as a broader population of readers and offers a variety of thematic, chronological, or geographic perspectives.
The affordable price of each issue (6 euros) represents La Poste's "open door" policy of making the history of this great institution available to everyone.
Each year a special issue of the collection is devoted to a specific publication (for instance, a catalogue, a yearbook of statistics, an historical atlas, or research guide) that provides a practical research tool for the study of postal history.
The Mémoire postale collection was created in 1998 in order to publicize first-hand accounts by postal workers of their professional experiences in the course of the 20th century.
The CHP organized an autobiographical competition and published the most outstanding submissions, including informal biographies that were of special interest for their exceptional historical value). Mémoire postale brings to life the everyday tasks and accomplishments of our extended postal family.
